Make a Plan for School, Daycare, and Eldercare
Schools, daycares, and eldercare providers should have emergency response plans. Parents and guardians of elderly or disabled adults should ask for details about these plans and include the information in your family plan.
Learn everything you need to know to keep your family safe, including:
- How will they keep in touch with families during a crisis?
- Do they have enough stored food, water and other basic supplies?
- Are they prepared to "shelter-in-place" if it is needed?
- Where do they plan to go if they must leave?
